May General Meeting – The Gathering Place

This month we welcome Joe Yeado – Founder and President of The Gathering Place Brewery. Community engagement is the name of the game for this brewery. Joe donates a portion of his profits every quarter to local charities/non profits.

You can find brews from The Gathering Place all over the community. They are at too many establishments to name so here is the link to find them near you http://www.gatheringplacebrewing.com/find-our-beer

The Gathering Place also co-sponsored the Cream City Homebrew Competition, which the club had great representation. Two of our entries made it into the finals and numerous others entered.

For those not familiar with the club, the next general meeting is on May 22th @ Cliffords Supper Club in Hales Corners. We start @ 7:30 p.m. and be sure to bring tasting glasses!

We will have a minimum of 10 kegs fermented with Omega on tap so there will plenty to share. Feel free to invite your friends!!!

March General Meeting – Mobcraft/Unique Brew Night

March will be a meeting you wont want to miss. We have Mobcraft coming in to discuss commercial recipe construction and how they brew the unique stuff that they do. If you are familiar with Mobcraft you know they are quality!

Mobcraft will be accompanied by our own brewers’ attempt on some unique recipes. These “outside the box” recipes include a Brown Ale brewed with Gingersnap cookies, a Fruitcake Dopplebock and many more surprises. We will likely have some more traditional brews on the jockey boxes as well for the purists.

For those not familiar with the club, the next general meeting is on March 27th @ Cliffords Supper Club in Hales Corners. We start @ 7:30 p.m. and be sure to bring tasting glasses!

Big Brew Day II – Munich Helles

Back in November we brewed a huge batch of Munich Helles at Spike Brewing on their 50 gallon system and split that batch multiple way with different yeast strains and temperatures. This month is the day those beers go on tap so we can break down the effects of these differences.

We also will have Milwaukee Pretzel Company pretzels for your enjoyment as well since it is the perfect compliment to this light and crisp beer style.

January 2019 Meeting – Gadget Night

This month Barons member Dave Campbell is returning for gadget night. Dave will be presenting a “best of” presentation which I am sure will provide some inspiration for everybody that attends. If you like Dave’s ideas be sure to follow his youtube page “mkegadgets.”
