Homebrew Competition Re-cap
The 2011 Wisconsin State Fair Homebrew competition is now over. We had a record number of entries, totaling almost 250. The quality of the entries was higher than ever and competition was stiff! Fortunately we had a large number of judges, stewards and other volunteers and were able to finish judging in four sessions over a two day period. Without the judges, stewards and data entry staff this would never have gone so smoothly. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.
The beers that made it to the best of show table were all outstanding. The best of show judges had a difficult time choosing the winners. I would like to thank all of the home brewers who entered this year’s competition. It is good to see our hobby is growing.

The Beer Barons meet at Clifford's Supper Club on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7:30 PM, with exceptions for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, and occasional special events. See the events page for notices. Meetings are open to anybody 21 years of age or older and normally cost $10; however costs may be higher to cover costs for special events.
Clifford's is located at 10418 W. Forest Home Ave. in Hales Corners.
