Mead Making

This class will cover mead making from the basics to advanced aspects. All types of mead including traditional, melomel (fruit mead with cyser - apple, pyment - grape, and other fruits), and metheglin (spice mead)

Instructor
Steve Piatz from the Twin Cities. Steve is the 2008 AHA Mead Maker of the Year and was involved in developing the BJCP mead judging program. He makes some fine meads and knows his stuff!

The Beer Barons meet at Clifford's Supper Club on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7:30 PM, with exceptions for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, and occasional special events. See the events page for notices. Meetings are open to anybody 21 years of age or older and normally cost $10; however costs may be higher to cover costs for special events.
